| The Model 68010 is an IR Remote Controlled AC Switcher with six AC outlet receptacles. It accept 67900 Smart Switch Programmer IR commands coming from any Xantech IR receiver, keypad, or controller direct-wired to its IR input port. Each outlet is switched ON or OFF by a high current electro mechanical relay for higher reliability than solid state switching methods.
Self-contained logic circuity is DIP switch adjustable by the installer for IR code groups A through H and for three switching modes as follow:
- TOGGLE - The individual AC outlets are toggled ON when the corresponding IR code is sent and OFF when the same code is sent again.
- PAIR - Two IR codes are used to control one AC outlet. One code for ON, the other for OFF.
- GROUP - Two IR codes override all individual settings. All AC outlets turn ON with one code and OFF with the other. NOTE: Toggle or Pair operations for any of the individual outlets will still operate after Group ON is executed.
Sequential ON commands for each outlet are possible when used in conjunction with learning devices, such as Xantech URC1 remotes, 730 key pads, or 590 controllers. Since the 680 is adjustable to IR code groups A through H by the installer, it allows multiple 680's to be individually controlled when used in the sane system. It also allows them to be used with other Xantech products on the same IR bus, such at the RT16, 670,686, etc., without mutual interaction.
