Video Modulators
These modulators take a baseband video (NTSC) and audio signals and convert them to a modulated radio frequency signal. (A TV channel.)
Baseband video is what comes out of your VCR "video out" jack and is normally a female RCA (or "phone") jack. It carries only one video signal...and no sound. There is usually one (mono) or two (stereo) line-level audio RCA jacks associated with a video jack.
RF jacks are normally "F" connectors and can carry multiple channels of information, with each channel containing video and audio (even MTS stereo) signals. The coax cable that brings cable or off-air TV into your home is an RF cable.
Modulators are a key piece of hardware in any video distribution system as they allow you to create your own TV stations from local sources such as your VCR, LaserDisk, DVD, or CCTV cameras. You can then "combine" these new TV stations with your existing cable or off-air stations and easily distribute all signals throughout your home on a single coaxial cable.

A full 30+dBmV output provides a powerful signal for long cable runs. Includes an external impedance matching switch for loop through stereo audio.
